Join Lauren Harris as she demystifies French wine labels and gives you the confidence to explore and buy wine with ease.
Lauren says, "For any aspiring wine aficionado, exploring France is essential. French wine sets the global standard, and many of the grapes we love trace their roots here. The romantic concept of terroir—wine’s sense of place and soul—is quintessentially French, as is the appellation system that defines grape varieties and winemaking practices. Fine French wines can truly captivate and mesmerize.
Yet French wine labels can be bewildering—sometimes it’s easier to grab a Chardonnay with a cute animal on the label. That’s where our Tour de France comes in: a guided journey through the nation’s legendary wine regions, no bicycle required."
