Join us for dinner on Tuesday nights in June, and let David Reiter's jazz guitar elevate your evening.
David Reiter introduced solo jazz guitar to fine dining in the Philadelphia area in 1969, when he began playing nightly at the original La Terrasse French cafe on the University of Pennsylvania campus, and he’s been maintaining the standard ever since. He and his 7 string guitar have carried on the tradition of quiet jazz as both entertainment and enhancement of a great dining experience.
David has performed at hundreds of venues in the Delaware Valley and around the country for many years in solo performance, leading his own trio, as a sideman for top national acts, and accompanying many of our best regional jazz vocalists.
He’s also an integral member of the blues community, backing national acts at top clubs and festivals here and around the country. He’s been driving the Philly Blues Kings to new heights since early in the 21st century.
But his true musical love is solo jazz guitar. Come hear him celebrate the spirit and tradition of the icons who inspired him from childhood - Tal Farlow, Joe Pass, Mundell Lowe, Wes Montgomery, Bucky Pizzarelli, Barney Kessel et al.
